Meet Carlo & Coralie, a Dutch & French couple who have drastially changed their lives to create The Green Rebel in 2020. Both have quit corporate jobs, starting our journey for a sense of belonging & purpose. Both of us felt stuck in a system that was driven by wrong motives that are destructive to our hearts & minds, and to the planet that we live on. This project has brought our paths of life together and the diverse backgrounds have given more depth to The Green Rebel.
In 2020 The Green Rebel was founded with the support of Founding Rebels through a crowdfunding campaign we did with Moose:
Carlo has a background in business and entrepreneurship and working for an international youth NGO. Being inspired by 'Life in Syntropy' he changed his life from a corporate consultant to a regenerative farmer. On his quest to find land to farm on, he met Coralie who had similar goals. Coralie has a background in Marketing & Communications, has lived in multiple continents and after living 6 months on a farm in Lombok she knew that farming was the optimum way of connecting with and contributing to the planet earth.
Together we have embarked on a lifelong adventure of living more in harmony with nature and serving our communities with high quality nutrition.
Since Coralie & Carlo started on a 15 hectare degraded farm, we have organized multiple ecosystem restorarion courses, planted over 10,000 trees and bushes, collaborated with Ecosia to get our business plan started, created and planted a Market Garden of 120 beds, renovated a farm house, welcomed 2 boys into this world and have found countless incredible local producers who produce high quality products that we are excited to share with you on top of our own regenerative products. In 2023 we started selling our first Farmers Boxes of vegetables and fruit, and have now delivered thousands of farmers boxes with nutrient dense and delicious food to families and restaurants.

A holistic context is a clear statement of the values, goals, and way of life a farm is working toward, guiding every decision in alignment with people, land, and community. It’s important because it ensures that daily choices regenerate the ecosystem while sustaining a thriving, resilient future.

The Green Rebel farm exists to take responsibility to heal & regenerate the soils, ecosystems and the well-being of animals & human beings through a resilient, profitable & enjoyable farm lifestyle.
Our Quality of Life we foresee as:
We want a simplistic life where we feel connected through meaningful relationships with human beings and to nature through building soil, growing an abundance of high quality food and we are free of financial or health worries. We value our family, friends, our local community, our planet and our own well-being. We want to feel energized, inspired and able to contribute something of significant contribution. We are living on the farm that is a place full of life, but we are also aware that we, at times, need to take physical and emotional breaks from the farm/project and its context to build our relationships (family & friends) and to get new inspiration and energy.
How?
We are doing this by focusing on the health of the soil, the biodiversity, the community that we live in and most of all our own well-being, so that we contribute to the economic development in rural communities, improve clean water availability, treat animals as our neighbors, source & provide nutrient dense food and are an inspiration for others.
